Selfportrait
Łukasz Rajchert
Łukasz Rajchert was born in 1976. Photography is his passion, but also a way of life; although he would like to earn a living as a musician. Time will only show if his wishes come true.
For two years he attended private photography school, but as he says he had learned "true photography" in an advertisement agency located in his hometown.
He enjoys every given moment, and tries not to waste it.
Why Polaroids?
Among the others, I am mostly drawn to Polaroids by its unpredictability. Unpredictability and also charm of the unreal reflection of reality, that can be achived by transfering Polaroids. All this is done in the most natural way-manually and with the use of an analogue technique. It is hard to resist it.
Technique:
With the help of the photographic roller the imprint, with wet chemicals is made on any kind of surface . This is really all that can be said about the way I make my transfers.
Tools:
All prints are transfers. Some of them are reproductions made with the help of Sinar camera with Polaroid 405 back. The other ones are done with the use of old compact camera - "Colorpack II". I used here instant Polaroid film. ISO 125.
