- Age: crucial for me, I am turning thirty soon
- Marital status: I have a fiance
- Place of residence/work: Warsaw
- Education: I attended artistic schools, mostly based on talking about yourself and trying to break your own insecurities. I do not have any formal education in the photographic field.
- I started to photograph: four years ago
- Cameras used: it varies, but my favorite one is Hassel
- Favorite photosensitive material: hp5+portra
- I would like to meet: I do not have desires of this kind. Rather than meet anyone, I am eager to see things, to feel them and to improve my own skills.
- Favorite portrait photographer: Avedon-my master, and an array of others.
- I take photographs, because: Because I enjoy it. Besides it is the easiest form of preserving the reality, situations, remembering things and people. After a while it becomes a habit and then the only answer you can give is: "because I can not stop". I also like to write, but I do it very rarely. Due to my lasiness, of course.
- Photographs hanging in your apartment: There are only two on the wall: portrait of my fiance, taken by his friend, and my sister with her little son on her lap, taken by me. There are few pictures on the shelves; some pre-war group portrait of my family and their friends. Also a pre-war portrait of my grandmother, and one of my other sister and my brother. There is also my desk calendar, permanently open to the month of August which features Gudzowaty's works.
- Music you are killing right now: Today I listened to "Tuatara", but I rather try to avoid music. I like the silence, the one almost impossible to achive.
- Last seen movie: Last night I saw "Sweet November" on TVN. It is kind of a melodrama. In regard to the movie that made a big impression on me, I am not going to be too original, but I have to say it was Wojciech Marczewski's movie, "Escape from the Freedom Cinema". Finally I managed to see the whole movie, from the beginning to the end. And for the eighty eight time I have fallen in love with Gajos. I was also left speechless after seeing Kar Wai's "2046".
- Book you last read/reading now: I am reading a few of them at once and to be more specific: four. I am at different stage of the advancement with each one of them : ), the first one that comes to my mind is "The Seven Sins of Memory" by Daniel L. Schacter. Remaining ones are books by Singer, Solomon and one of my favorites: Wilber. No fiction : )
